BC Inherited Arrhythmia Program (BCIAP) at SPH

The BC Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic accepts referrals for suspected or known diagnosis of an inherited arrhythmia (Long QT syndrome, catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia, arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, Brugada syndrome, sudden unexplained cardiac arrest and sudden unexpected death, some hypertrophic cardiomyopathy). The Clinic incorporates multidisciplinary screening, evaluation and genetic counseling for patients/families affected by, or at risk for, an inherited arrhythmia, sudden unexplained cardiac arrest, sudden unexplained death or sudden infant death syndrome.
